On behalf of Hunan Xurong Garment Co., Ltd., Mr. Lu Yu, general manager of our company, followed the China Garment Association, went deep into Italy and Spain, inspected local garment fabric enterprises, learned about the latest research and development of modern textile industry, conducted in-depth exchanges with entrepreneurs and company representatives, and explored cooperation opportunities.

ISAIA (Italian Red Coral) Cultural Center

First of all, I visited the ISAIA (Italian Red Coral) Cultural Center located in the center of Milan, Italy, to understand the development and inheritance of ISAIA brand, design concept, experience the unique cultural customs of southern Italy, learn the classic design elements of ISAIA products on the spot, experience the appeal of Naples faction classic clothing, and had in-depth communication with Mr. Giampaolo Alliata, the sales president of fashion bloggers.

Quaregna global general manager Stefano Tescari personally led the delegation to visit the research and development studio. Zegna, Cerruti 1881 and PIACENZA executives also led the delegation to visit the brand museum, design center, production workshop, sample room, raw material library, etc. The whole process from design and development to production and manufacturing is not a big feast for the eyes.

During this trip, I participated in two well-known exhibitions in the industry, namely, the 2023 Italian Milan Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA) and the Italian Men's Wear Exhibition-the 104th Pitti Uomo.

Founded in 1951, ITMA is the latest technology platform to showcase cutting-edge textile and garment machinery, with the aim of exploring new ideas, seeking new solutions for sustainable development and creating opportunities for win-win cooperation.

Italian men's wear exhibition Pitti Uomo is the largest annual event of Pitti Immagine group and one of the most influential exhibitions in the international men's wear industry. On the morning of June 14, we came to the exhibition site. This famous gathering place of trendy people in the industry presented the current fashion trend of men's wear in Italy from various angles, providing us with high reference value from the aspects of popular color, clothing style, fashion style, production technology and so on.

 

On June 16, we took a flight to Barcelona, Spain. On the same day, we visited the textile museum Can Marfà, which is the exhibition space of the Martaro Museum and belongs to one of the warehouses of the old Marfà factory. On the second floor of the museum, all kinds of ancient equipment and elements of knitting technology are permanently displayed, which effectively preserves the knitting industry collection that once gave the city of Barcelona its uniqueness and vitality for people in the industry to trace and learn.

In addition, I also visited some enterprises and factories in Italy and Spain that have done design, R & D, production and processing for international fashion brands, learned their advanced design concepts, felt the exquisite production technology, and learned from the transmission of brand culture and values. In addition to the compact and substantial industry business investigation, I also learned about the cultural history, art design, and business environment of Italy and Spain along the way.
